QuoteMarket analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, stating that the mass production timeline for Intel's Panther Lake lineup has been postponed from early September 2025 to mid-Q4 2025. This means notebooks and devices powered by the Panther Lake chips may not be available to the public till 2026.
Almost as expected. I originally expected early 2026, but now it's even worse. If they postponed production to Q4 2025 it's basically over for the year. And that means it will also take another 6 months to actually arrive at the market - which is June/July 2026.
At the same time it confirms the assumption that Arrow Lake will stay longer than expected. It's not the short "intermezzo" some tech magazines assume it to be. It's gonna stay for a while. Even an Arrow Lake refresh becomes likely. It's almost the same story as with 13th gen and 14th gen (whereas the 14th was a refresh, because they just didn't have anything else to sell). History repeats.
