At least they priced their desktop better.

The framework desktop lacks the repair-ability aspect, there will be far cheaper minipcs on the market. Remember, desktops by nature tend to be cheaper

1) if the stylus isn't pressure sensitive then they may as well not even bother releasing it because like there is no audience for a 12-inch laptop with a touch screen with that doesn't have a stylus like you already have a laptop that's better than that it just doesn't have a touch screen but anybody who wants a touch screen on their laptop wants it because they can draw so they need it to pressure sensitive

1a) I swear to God if that stylus cost like $500 and you're forced to buy it. Can we not just make it compatible with any generic stylus

2) the screen has to lie flat or has to turn like swivel and then lie flats or the best option would be to do what the conceptd and the surface studio do, where the screen can flip and put the back on the keyboard with the screen facing you. But on a repairable laptop I can foresee that being kind of hard because you'd have to take that off every time you wanted to do anything and it's mildly complicated but it would be awesome

OMG THIS DESIGN WOULD HAVE BEEN GENIUS IN SCHOOL! Linus def built this for his kids. Not only is it robust but its actually a high performing device w/ a form factor thats actually ideal for mobility and durability.... Idk why massive companies havent been doing this before. HS & Colleges would buy this up.....

Framework today announced the latest in its repairable, upgradeable laptop line-up. The Framework 12 is a 12-inch convertible laptop with a touch screen and 360-degree hinge. Despite the convertible nature, the Framework 12 will feature a rugged design, with TPU overmoulding for shock absorption.
