I wish they leve it alone and keep it as is and not disabled the Kindle app in fact i think they should do the opposite and make it easier for people to buy ebooks

Since I have expected this for years, I have never bought any Amazon ebook. Of course, I will never buy one. Local backups of purchases are the most important aspect of electronic media, that is even more important than their contents, essential and can never be sacrificed. Needless to say, since Amazon raised MP3 tracks from €0.99 to €1.29 my purchases dropped from frequent to zero. Advertisements in streams and I do not buy them. Those big companies never learn apparently because they still have at least one other depleted customer.

In just a few days, Kindle users will no longer be able to download eBooks purchased through Amazon's Kindle store. The move will essentially end any potential for downloading local backups of purchased books; Kindle users will only be able to access their library via downloads directly to a Kindle device.
