This generation of graphics cards has the greatest potential of any graphics cards ever made even if they haven't quite reached that potential through their software yet it will get there and those with patience will reap the reward.
It's too bad AMD decided to not even try anymore.
Please share more of your wisdom.

Hopefully my 4090 will last me a LONG time. I was rocking a 1070 for several years up until last week

Think twice? More like think 5 times. Between the non-existent to negative efficiency, the missing ROPs, the black screen issues, the burning connectors... This gen of nVidia HW is a giant red flag as a whole.

AMD has an opportunity to at least grab the medium and low end of the chart, but they'll mess it up with too high prices, not enough HW produced, or a mix of both.

The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card has been knocked off its perch at the top of PassMark's high-end video card benchmark chart. The RTX 4090 has moved back into the number one spot, with a very slight advantage of +1.02%. The new Blackwell GeForce RTX 50 series cards have suffered a bumpy ride since their initial launch in January.
