Is this why R* forcefully removed a fan made Gta vc next gen mod? The irony is that the mod is still available despite of Rockstar's best effort and R* cant do anything about it. They learned the hard way that its the user generated content that encourages players to buy their iconic game and restricting mods will only attract fan backlash! Atleast now they came into sense.
Rockstar Games is considering how to cultivate user-generated content in GTA 6. With official mod support early in its life cycle, GTA 6 could generate extra income for both the publisher and creators. Digiday recently posted an article that gives insight into Rockstar's plans.
