No, Donald Trump did not introduce a "25% tariffs on all imports" earlier in the year. He introduced an additional 10% tariff on the goods with the County of Origin 'China' earlier this year. Also, such a tariff applies to the much lower  wholesale price that a US Importer (such as NVIDIA) pays for the China-origin goods that it imports - not to the MSRP. In other words, your assumptions are incorrect on many levels.

That was mentioned as a cause in the article. Raising prices was probably inevitable, but in the case of the RTX 5080, doing it a week after release isn't going to sit well with consumers.

By these calculations, i assume the price for to 5070 ti would be around the $950 range in the US. Congratulations, you made everything in the US so much more expensive than it would've been!
