But will that joint Nvidia-Media Tek chip be available when Qualcomm releases the snapdragon 8 Gen 5 aka 8 Elite 2 ?

Not really news, as they are already bringing this to laptop, so would just need a lower power variant for phones.

Qualcomm is in for a world of pain and boy do we need another player in the phone/mobile SoC market. Hopefully also puts an end to Scamsung's Exynyos SoC for good.
