This ARCADE RACER looks like a lot of fun, definitely not a sim though

Arcade racers are typically just called racing games to emphasize that they're light on the simulation aspect. I almost skipped this article because I have no interest in racing sims.

Forza and GT aren't sims either. Look at like iRacing or Assetto cords for something more simmy.

It's a great game if you know what to expect. I've put about 20 hours into this game and am having a blast! Just sit down with my controller and speed down the freeway. The game isn't a sim at all though. Super arcady, which I enjoy when it comes to racing games.

Tokyo Xtreme Racer is a cult racing sim franchise that last saw an installment in 2006 on the Xbox 360. Developed by Genki, the latest game in the franchise has launched in Early Access on Steam and received overwhelmingly positive reviews.
