And you need faster charging why? You do know the faster you charge a battery the more you'll damage it - you will certainly shorten its lifespan.

How's it disappointing? They have the best battery life in class... even @5000mah 1mk6 current generation they were getting better battery life than phones that had 6000+mah....

Batteries will be important, b way more will be speed of charging and camera capabilities.
50+200+50+200Mp camera systems and about 5x with that hi res put sony quite behind, not to mention foldables and huawei.
Camera hw like auto electronic ND, hi res hdr raws, IR cameras and other stuff,... sony will be completely left behind if they wont bring something exciting - times 4.
I also like some sony features, but it's 1 vs 10 in competition...

Supposed information about the Sony Xperia 1 VII has been shared online, and it will likely not make for happy reading for fans of the line. Rumors about the Mark 7 variant of the Xperia 1, expected to launch toward the middle of 2025, have painted a picture of the Xperia 1 VII as only being a slight update over the previous iteration.
