The firt two posters were spot on. Samsung is pushing substandard hardware in zFolds, while allowing their superior parts to be used by China companies.
Also, I like to add that it has already been mentioned by Qualcomm that the processor performance difference between versions will be minimal.
The processor in the OnePlus was actually specifically meant for thinner foldables, as less heat translates to less thermal throttling.
Samsung's decision to use the hotter running processor, is totally for media hype. They will most definitely have to down throttle the processor more and any overheating will cause further processor throttling.
This will result in only short term performance burst on Samsung, only long enough for specs.
The OnePlus Open 2 will perform cooler and more battery efficient. .
I highly doubt the Fold7 will be more powerful, and if so it will be close. If the OnePlus Open beat the ZF6 despite being one year older I doubt the ZF7 will beat the OnePlus Open 2. The only way the Fold7 might compete is if they make the battery bigger, and finally get different cameras. I don't care about speed since the average flagship are fast already.
It is starting to become comical how Samsung with the assistance of tech "experts"tech Ambassadors and "unbiased" tech writers and websites are spinning (lying) in a desperate attempt to convince consumers in the West to buy their devices!! The truth about Samsung,Google and Apple are all companies that have taken advantage of the western consumers for years! These three companies became massive billion dollar businesses because of the Western consumers and because of that they have been granted a quasi monopoly of the western markets!!This monopoly has allowed these companies the ability to only compete between each other! This also allows Samsung, Google and Apple the ability to continue using dated technology because they assume consumers will never become aware of the multiple global devices that have generationally leapt the iPhone, Galaxy and Pixel devices in multiple vital categories. The first category is Silicon carbon batteries. Silicon carbon is now the standard battery technology in all global devices. This battery technology allows a larger battery capacity in the same exact space while maintaining stability when charged between 80 to 120 watts wired and 50 watts wireless. 2. The camera sensors Samssung, Google and Apple utilize are old tech and small. Now that processors have become so powerful larger advanced camera sensors are a necessity in order to gather much more data to be processed providing far superior photos and video. Samsung creates 2 far superior camera sensors than the small Isocell HP2 they continue using. Samsung creates the Isocell hp9 which is much larger and is the best mobile camera sensor in the world at this time. This sensor was expected in the s24 ultra. Instead of Samsung utilizing this sensor they made the most unexplainable decision and only provide this sensor to Vivo which is Samsung's direct competition. Vivo utilizes the HP9 in last year's X100 uktra and this years X200 pro. The X100 Ultra and X200 Pro are unquestionably the best camera phones in the world. Just as tech ambassadors and Tech writers have worked to convince western consumers that the s25 devices are good these same writers are once again trying to spin the reason why Samsung doesn't use the HP9. They are ridiculously claiming Samsung didn't utilize the hp9 is because it was to big!! The truth is Samsung continues using their subpar hp2 is because it's their most inexpensive. The people that continue making fools of themselves by repeating the blatantly false excuses Samsung provides them need to wake up! Samsung is fully aware that people who purchase the s25 ultra have no problem with a camera bump getting larger!! Especially considering the S25 ultra photos are nearly identical to the s24 ultra!! While Samsung is intentionally helping their competition create superior devices they are also releasing a 16gb ram version of the s25 ultra only to Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea and China!! Yes there is something seriously wrong happening!! Anyone that runs a business understands how wrong it is that Samsung is not only helping Vivo create far superior devices then Samsung they are also provided Honor with their Isocell hp3 for their Honor magic 7 pro which is now the second best camera phone in the world!! Now we are seeing every text ambassadors on YouTube doing camera comparisons between the s25 ultra with old battery tech, small camera sensors to the iPhone 16 pro max (aka iPhone 11 (aka iPhone 11 with different interals) or to the Pixel 9 pro XL both with old battery tech and tiny camera sensors!! Comparing these three devices is basically trying to try and reinforce the idea to the Western consumers that these 3 devices are the only devices that exist!! This is blatant and inexcusable!! Now we talk about the rediculous upcoming foldable brick that Samsung will once again rely on the same biased tech ambassadors and websites to try and manipulate users into believing the zfold 7 is an amazing device. The upcoming foldable device will once again ignore the superior standard battery tech, continue using their cheapest smallest hp2 camera sensor and the device will also have the s-pen digitizer removed!! Once again the same battery size with the same old charging speeds. Samsung is claiming they removed the s-pen digitizer from the zfold 7 to make it thinner(zfold se that was already released to Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea and China) This claim about the digitizer us another blatant lie from Samsung as well know the 4.5 mm thick Honor magic v3 foldable not only has a digitizer, it has silicon carbon battery technology and far superior (larger sensos)cameras than any of the galaxy devices let alone the zfold 7!! THE TRUTH IS IF SAMSUNG GOOGLE AND APPLE ARE ALLOWED TO CONTINUE CREATING SUB PAR DEVICES THAT THEY SIMPLY PAY PEOPLE TO LIE ABOUT IN ORDER TO SELL AND CONSUMERS DON'T STOP FALLING FOR THE LIE THEN THE COMPANIES WILL NEVER STOP EXPLOITING CONSUMERS!!
The slower SM8750-3-AB variant of the Snapdragon 8 Elite will underpin the Oppo Find N5 and its OnePlus Open 2 sibling. By contrast, a new report suggests that the more powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy (SM8750-AC) is in order for the Galaxy Z Fold7, which has higher clock speeds and an additional Performance CPU core to its name.
