Tougher does not necessarily mean harder. Looks like Armour 2 glass has traded hardness for toughness. I think that is better for some people that like to drop their phone because won't get a case, but I'd prefer the older Armour glass that was much more scratch resistant. I would definitely be putting a glass screen protector on the S25's, but they are such pathetic updates, I still won't be updating my S21. OnePlus 14(R) next year is highly likely to be my new phone.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra's new Gorilla Armor 2 glass is touted to make the new flagship smartphone the most robust device of its series to date. However, its predecessor has come out ahead of it in a popular online torture test. Then again, it does also seem to be at least as tough in other ways.
