Sadly the 'add free' Netflix viewing has nearly doubled in cost over the last handful of years.

Frankly while Netflix continues to invest (waste) capital on self made content it is the rental/licensed content that others produced that attracted me to and keeps me coming back to their platform.

At some point I'll face the decision that many viewers have: keep or drop Netflix?
