As a Fenix6Pro-Solar owner/user it always encourages me that Garmin continues to release viable updates to their older products.

Granted I'll likely NEVER purchase another Garmin watch - at least until my current one somehow dies. :)

(Keep in mind folks, I have a handful of Casio examples that are +>20yo that still function perfectly fine IE: good as new)

A pity to see this development. Got a 7 pro a few months before the launch of the Fenix 8 and have been a user since Fenix 3. I would understand it if features like strength coach would be an 8 exclusive as it was not out when I acquired the watch but seeing that older and cheaper models get this functionality while the flagship models are left behind leaves a bad taste. Would not recommend Garmin anymore and will look elsewhere for my next smart watch

Garmin has introduced a new set of beta builds for its Fenix 7 and Fenix 7 Pro smartwatches. In keeping with recent firmware, the new updates focus on resolving outstanding bugs rather than adding additional features or functionality.
