Were they present on purchase or did they occur later?

I have the Intel version and was excited about it at first. Now not anymore because the reliability is not the best. In 1 year 2x service, 2x dead pixels on screen, 1xfailed keyboard

My guess is the processor. Last year's G10 was reviewed with both the ultralow voltage Ryzen 7 7840U and HS-series Ryzen 9 7940HS. If you can, take a look at the G10 Ryzen 9's battery life score compared to the G11 Ryzen 7's. Both are HS-series processors and thus make for an even comparison, and we can see the expected disparity in battery life favoring the G11. By contrast, comparing the G10's Ryzen 7 U-series with the G11's Ryzen 7 HS-series results in the discrepancy you mentioned before.

HP does not change a lot for the EliteBook 845 G11 and only updates the processor to the Ryzen 7 Pro 8840HS (Zen4). You also get Thunderbolt 4 support now and the very good IPS screen as well as the excellent keyboard remain unchanged.
