This is the usual play woth Nintendo. Get the console out there to get initial sales and profit, wait a few years then give people the upgrade that they want for a slightly higher price, then eventually an even better upgrade before the end-life of the console and the next one coming out. So, I'm  bettimg that we will see a slim version of the Switch 2 before the OLED version.

The future is charging you twice for the same console.  Why would they give you the OLED first?  Seems like standard business practice now.
