Hopefully Qualcomm makes the chip more efficient and reduces its peak power draw because the current 8 Elite runs hot and throttles badly.

Well can't complain much about these excess processors performance,as upcoming battery techs,and size are seemily also catching up.

TSMC is now believed to get production of its cutting-edge 2 nanometer (2nm) chipsets underway in earnest by the second half of 2025 - however, the next processor for top-end Android smartphones will not be among them. The "Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2" is backed to launch with significant performance upgrades nonetheless.
