I don't mind they will offer some choice, but they can get stuffed because they don't offer Strix as an option. Why must we be restricted to Intel and I'll not have anything to do with ARM until at least generation 3 when I'm confident most software runs natively and the iGPU has been improved 400-500%.

Maybe Nvivia+Mediateck can fix that or AMD with their Soundwave design in 2026, not that Microsoft would use ti anyway.

Microsoft currently offers the Surface Laptop with Intel Meteor Lake and Qualcomm Snapdragon X chipsets. However, a new leak has revealed that a new Intel Lunar Lake option is in the works with the same redesign that debuted earlier this year with the Snapdragon X-powered Surface Laptop 7.
