I love how the author just looks at specs and declares the 5080 a refresh, ignoring the architectural improvements with Blackwell, the huge bandwidth increase in GDDR7, potential L2 cache increases, higher clocks, etc etc. I'll bet 5080 is close to 4090 performance and if price stays at $999 it'll sell up a storm

It should be GB202, not AD202 for all references to the 5090.

A new leak has revealed some key specifications of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 and RTX 5080. The former will get 32 GB of VRAM while the latter will have to make do with 16 GB. Both cards will draw more power than their predecessors.
