Intel Arrow Lake CPUs will be roughly identical in size to the Raptor Lake Refresh chips, but since the pin count has increased from 1700 to 1851, they will not be compatible with each other THIS IS A DISASTER to spend $1000 on a motherboard again.
Intel 1 year. AM4 and AM5 7 years of upgrades. Intel does not provide continuity and people can not pay more.

A new leak says AMD plans to launch the Ryzen 7 9800X3D in the coming weeks. On the other hand, the Ryzen 9 9900X3D and Ryzen 9 9950X3D might not hit shelves until next year because they have some 'special features'.
