I think what this (and the release of Lunar Lake later today) shows, is that ISA matters much less and a good architecture can come from anywhere if truly optimised for performance per watt. That if something is rushed, due to corporate internal politics poor miss management / decisions being made at leadership positions - then yeah, nothing is gonna save you really.

Don't think anyone in the arm space is gonna argue that SXE hasn't been a huge let down. Oh well. There's always next year I guess with Mediatek + Nvidia GPU IP, hopefully they do a lot better.

I'm sorry but that HUGE pad that DWARF's the KEYBOARD is a "show stopper" for me.

Personally I'd prefer 2/3 keyboard 1/3 trackpad or 3/4 keyboard and 1/4 trackpad.

Nice review. But these are way to expensive. No way Qualcomm can gain much Marketshare with these prices.
If they drop 50% in price i might consider it.

The Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge 16, which is currently the only laptop fitted with the fastest Snapdragon X Elite processor (X1E-84-100), has higher CPU core clock rates as well as a faster Adreno GPU. However, the slim Galaxy Book4 can only use its performance potential to a limited extent.
