Google hat sich zum Launch des Pixel 9 Pro und des Pixel 9 Pro XL nicht zum Thermometer geäußert, das ungewöhnliche Feature wurde aber unverändert vom Pixel 8 Pro übernommen. Durch ein Software-Update führt Google nun eine Reihe neuer Features für den Infrarot-Temperatur-Sensor ein.
