"The TV has up to 1,200 nits brightness, though the number of partitions in the Mini LED backlight has yet to be revealed by Xiaomi."
When a OEM neglects (or deliberately fails) to reveal/announce important spec features for their products that they are trying to win over potential buyers... e.g. ***sustainable luminance*** which Dolby/DTX audio tracks they FULLY supports (all tracks up to Lossless object-based or just limited tracks), ect.the BEST solution is to not mention any specs until that OEM realizes that they just can't get away with shady marketing.
To expect change, it starts with just the SIMPLE THINGS, you know.
Xiaomi has announced a new TV in China: the S85 Mini LED. The device has an 85-inch 4K display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a Mini LED backlight for up to 1,200 nits brightness. Other features include a Game Mode with a 240Hz boosted refresh rate, support for FreeSync Premium Pro, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.
