The Z1 Extreme! That 8.6 TFLOPs GPU performance for handhelds is wild. When the page died, I felt like I lost a bet. Tried refreshing but the specs wouldn't fully load.

Lol, been there. My tab crashed while watching a benchmark video once. What were you checking out? The Z1 or the Z1 Extreme?

Has anyone ever had weird hiccups when researching new gaming tech? I was reading about the AMD Ryzen Z1 series last night and my browser froze mid-spec sheet—felt like I was gambling on whether the page would reload.

AMD has lifted the lid on the Ryzen Z1 series, which it intends OEMs to use in gaming handhelds. Available with 4 or 12 Compute Units based on the RDNA 3 architecture, both Ryzen Z1 APUs will also feature Zen 4 CPU cores and should be capable of native 1080p gaming in modern triple-A titles.
