Not to be racist or even biased.  But OMG when I first heard of Huawei and looked at their Leica phone branding I was like ew, don't Chinese have any pride to use their own products instead of seeking partnership with Western or foreign companies?  The world needs choices.  If I want to buy a phone with a Samsung or LG screen I'd go with a Korean phone.  When I look at the specs of a (typical) Chinese phone:  comes with Samsung screen, uses Sony image sensor, in partnership with Leica for the cameras, bleh!!!

Leica has officially jumped ship to Xiaomi today (July 4, 2022) in terms of premium camera smartphone collaborations. Its former partner, Huawei, has responded by instituting something new called XMAGE, a spin-off of sorts from the OEM's Mobile Imaging division touted to keep its reputation for photography prowess going in the future.
