Why not just buy an LG OLED TV for a much lower price? What's the big advantage here?

What's depressing is that when I initially read that, I didn't even immediately assume it was a typo.

Professional/gaming monitor pricing these days is so outrageous (particularly when compared to "TV's" that get you 90% of the way there, and surpass "monitors" in other areas), that I read that and initially just thought "10k for a sub-4k OLED monitor that only qualifies for the lowest VESA HDR cert, go figure".

LG has released another UltraFine OLED Pro model, this time a 65-inch model. The 65EP5G is colour accurate, has HDMI 2.1 ports and 0.1 ms GtG response times. LG does not want to discuss prices, but retailers are selling it for nearly £10,000.
