Outsourcing firmware or software without strict QA often leads to these kinds of problems. It's a reminder how crucial tight coordination is during product development.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Avoid this company!

This company is very amateur! I lost very valuable information on their Vava SSD disk and support is completely ignoring me.
They are outsourcing their software development from some 3rd part newbie developer - don't trust in that software and don't lock your data on disk with their software - you are risking losing all your data.

The VAVA Portable SSD Touch is a new product launched via Indiegogo recently. It is a stick-like drive with a hardware-based fingerprint scanner on the top of its aluminium, supposedly shock-proof casing. It also apparently packs AES 256-bit encryption on top of that and USB 3.1 Gen 2 speeds into its compact form-factor.
