99.9% of buyers, having learned that for a surcharge of +$20-30 they can get a normal IPS with a good color space and brigtness (+50 nit), instead of this shabby cheapness, they will easily pay this extra small amount money! Your post is unclear and your rant started before you got around to answering the question you were responding to. To the OP and anyone who may stumble on this, no it supports HDMI 1.4 only not 2.0.

Can someone comment on screen reflection? I've read that despite having an anti-glare screen, reflections are conspicuous.

I've had the Ideapad 530s for about a week now, and I have to commend your review. I agree with it on all counts. I managed to get the i7-8550U model with 16 GB RAM and 512 GB SSD for $730 USD (Lenovo has some great super sales), so value-for-money was what really compelled me to go with this particular ultrabook. Even apart from the pricing, though, the 530s really does have a lot going for it, with the relatively minor trade-offs that you note. I was looking for an inexpensive 15.6" ultrabook with a fast PCIe SSD to take with me to the coffee shop, mainly for research and writing. The 530s checks those boxes, and it's very attractive to boot. I'm very happy with my purchase.
