I think there's something up with the GTX 1070ti testing in this article, your Performance Rating for the card is only 2% higher than the GTX 1070, and for sure the GTX 1070ti is faster than that - in fact it's actually closer to the GTX 1080 in performance.  I noticed that your Firestrike Graphics Score for the 1070ti was only 18219, only 2% higher than the GTX 1070, something is definitely wrong with that score, it's very low, should be substantially higher - no GTX 1070, even a factory overclocked third party model will be faster than a GTX 1070ti unless you manually overclock the GTX 1070 - the performance shown for the GTX 1070ti is too low in this article, it's way lower than other review sites I've seen, I think something was up with the testing & or testing system that would explain the low performance of the GTX 1070ti.

Bridge the Gap. With the GTX 1070 Ti, Nvidia brings out a lower-priced alternative to the GTX 1080 and, in the process, forgoes the more expressive GDDR5X video memory. In the review, the Founders Edition card shall show how well it stacks up against the in-house competition.
