It doesn't rival the mac studio, it's memory bandwidth is a fraction of even the low end config.

QuoteAsus now reports that the ProArt GR1X will be available with 64 GB or 128 GB of LPDDR5X RAM
AMD Gorgon Halo goes up to 192 GB of LPDDR5X-8533 RAM, so at a similar memory speed. If you need that, to e.g. run huggingface.co/unsloth/DeepSeek-V4-Flash-0731-GGUF at full 162 GB weights (because it doesn't quantize well, because of native 4-bit weights) or any other up to ~300B models's 4-bit quants. Note: On Windows you may be limited to only 160 GB of freely allocate-able memory and on Linux it's almost the full 192 GB RAM.

NV needs to catch up to up to 192 GB RAM.

Asus has confirmed release details about its next high-end mini-PC. Featuring a 20-core RTX Spark N1X processor, the ProArt GR1X will rival the Mac Studio with a 140 W TDP, a USB-C power input and up to 128 GB of RAM in a ~1.1-litre case.
