It's just paper launches and vaporware. There is no real volume for anyone until many years later. Hence why the pricing of old parts going up. And why it's difficult to get excited for any new launch these days.

You would be correct if anything shipped on time in any mass mainstream supply / availability - but nothing is anymore.

Let's not lose sight that these specialized, non-upgradeable "AI powerhouse" desktops and notebooks will be worth next to nothing in a few years.

This stuff depreciates fast, these companies are hoping to get you to spend $6-8k every other year to keep up - the sole business model is to milk the AI craze while it lasts.
