Canon, Sony, Nikon, Fujifilm, Panasonic — almost all of the major traditional camera manufacturers are based in Japan and are organized under the industry association CIPA. But lifestyle brands such as DJI and Insta360 are now outperforming traditional camera makers, at least when it comes to the number of models sold. When it comes to profits, however, the picture is somewhat different.
