A U.S. federal court has ordered former r/SwitchPirates moderator James "Archbox" Williams to pay Nintendo $4.5 million for distributing pirated Switch games and promoting piracy services. The default judgment also permanently bars Williams from operating pirate shops, sharing Nintendo titles, or distributing software designed to bypass the company's protections.
