High-definition Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire footage posted by the official Japanese Pokémon account has renewed speculation that Nintendo is preparing Switch ports of the 2004 games. While recent retro releases and earlier rumours give weight to the speculation, Nintendo is yet to make any official announcement.
