With the Galaxy Z Fold8, Samsung is relying on a well-balanced camera system featuring a powerful ultra-wide-angle lens and extensive video capabilities, but continues to omit a telephoto lens. Huawei is taking a much more ambitious approach with the Pura X Max: a variable aperture, a periscope telephoto lens, and additional color sensors promise greater photographic flexibility. However, which foldable actually delivers the better photos will only be determined through direct hands-on testing.
