I'm not someone who drops huge amounts on gam es; I just enjoy testing my luck now and then with small stakes. Try this:

Enable Proxy Mode / Optimized Media in Filmora9
Lower preview quality to 1/2 or 1/4 resolution
Make sure hardware acceleration (GPU) is enabled
Copy footage to internal SSD before editing (if you haven't already)
Close background apps while editing
