With the Galaxy Z Fold8, Samsung is changing not only the technology but, above all, the proportions. The wider cover display and the 4:3 main display are designed to make the foldable more practical for everyday use. Our test shows that while the new form factor addresses some of the typical weaknesses of foldable smartphones, it also comes with its own set of compromises.
