When the announcement was made the Oppo would not be building players anymore after their 4k BD203, I decided that 2k bluray was good enough for me since my whole library was built on that... I already owned a BD93 and BD103 . Went on ebay and bought 2 used BD103Ds, 1 more 93 and one more 103 ... At 71 years old those 6 Oppos will certainly outlast me !!! Lol..
They're built like tanks and 4 of them have HDMI inputs... which allows me to use the Oppo Darby system and circuitry to punch up my Ruko when used !
The leap from standard DVD to Bluray was Huge ... whereas I just didnt see the cost moving from 2k to 4k ...
