This is pure nonsense. Literally nobody in the real world is ever going to bend or treat their phone like that in daily use. These extreme torture tests are designed for shock value, not practical durability. No foldable is meant to be snapped backwards with maximum force, and deliberately destroying a device doesn't reflect how it holds up to normal, everyday wear and tear.

"Test"... lol
If that is a test, I'm a ballet dancer.
Spoiler alert, I'm not a ballet dancer.

You're not selling foldables to me - Google or Samsung - why would you want a device with so many shortcomings and such a high price?

The back panel composite is "3x more durable" not the entire frame or hinge. Just the back panel..

Google can't be bothered with hardware and hasn't learned anything about proper foldable design in four years. This harsh conclusion of durability tester and teardown expert Zack Nelson is scathing. Unlike Samsung's significantly thinner Galaxy Z Fold 8 foldables, even the comparatively thick Pixel 11 Pro Fold cannot withstand the bend test—for one simple reason.
