Typical Bethesda. Took a game that was fairly stable and working just fine, and threw out an "update" no one asked for, and now the game keeps crashing if you open the map more than about 3 times. Super frustrating!
Bethesda's August 2026 Skyrim Special Edition update raises console mod storage to 15 GB, redesigns the Creations storefront, and fixes Steam Deck and Creation Kit crashes.
