Sony CEO Hiroki Totoki has confirmed there's still no locked-in launch date for the PS6, according to a Wall Street Journal profile. The console was previously rumored for holiday 2027, but some now think it could slip to 2028, the same year Sony plans to end disc support for new PlayStation games.
