Google DeepMind's SL2T model lets Pixel 11 owners sign instead of type. American Sign Language feeds straight into Gboard and Live Transcribe at no extra cost, and the camera feed never leaves the phone: only body landmarks go to the server. Other sign languages and other devices are still missing.
