Hitachi and Toshiba, together with Taiwan High Speed Rail, have officially unveiled Taiwan's new N700ST high-speed trainsets. Based on the Shinkansen N700S, the trains are intended to add urgently needed capacity to the THSR network while also supporting future expansion.
