This particular update didn't have any noticeable impact on my battery life. I've been using the S24 Ultra for about 2 years and 6 months, so some battery degradation over time is expected.
Despite that, I still get solid all-day battery life with my typical daily usage. I also switched the Performance Profile from Standard to Light. As someone who's fairly tech-savvy, I haven't noticed any reduction in responsiveness or performance during everyday tasks. For my usage, the Light profile provides a good balance between efficiency and performance.
Really glad to hear I'm not the only one - S25 Ultra, overheating accompanied with significant battery drain just doing small tasks, or even sitting idle. No indications as to what's happening in Good Guardians. Super frustrating.
Im also glad to know I'm not the only one who is having this problem. It's like my phone be 100% charged and about 10- 15 minutes off the charger its at like 80%. Something really need to be did about this immediately.
Glad to see that I'm not the only 25 Ultra owner having battery issues. I even looked at all my settings to see if the update changed something causing the drain. No luck ! I've also noticed an increase in battery heat while charging.
Probably the typical stuff. Get you to get a new one 😂😂😂 that new 2nm process needs funding. It was like that with me on my Note 20 Ultra. No matter what just kept packing out my hard drive. Fighting constantly for the last 500MB-1.5GB
Several Galaxy S25 Ultra and S24 Ultra users are facing battery drain and overheating issues after installing the latest July security patch. For some users, the charging speeds have also slowed down.
