Most people aren't complaining about the size or the content, I don't think a Reddit discussion is particularly representative. It's the approach to exploration that gets people. Just allow people to turn off map markers if they want and 90% of the complaints will disappear.
Final Fantasy 7 Revelation is set to feature the largest world in the franchise's history. Rather than generating excitement, however, the record-breaking map size has left many fans feeling uneasy.
