In addition, Lenovo refuses to replace the garbage Mylar touchpads with glass ones even though doing so would not be expensive, so why upgrade if there is no improvement.
Heck, a Thinkpad T480 bought on an auction site would better suit most people.
Its not just the price: For many 2026 laptops, customers may be better served buying an older 2025 model. The Lenovo ThinkBook 14 G9 IPL has a hard time beating its older counterpart.
