What a strange way to phrase it - the iPhone Ultra isn't released yet, whereas other phones in this form factor already do. Arguably, Apple is jumping on the other manfucaturers' bandwagon.
Why do we often phrase things in a way that gives Apple credit for things they didn't invent?

As a leaker recently revealed, the specs and price goal seem to point to a flagship device. Regarding battery size, Honor apparently aims to outperform the entire competition once again.
