The PS5 Pro has an overly high price and, maybe due to that, doesn't sell as well:

According to usinflationcalculator.com, 700 in 2024 = 747 in 2026 (kinda crazy already), and approximately 760-785 by 2027. 1000 would be way over the adjusted inflation price.

Sony recently increased the prices of the PS5, PS5 Pro, and PlayStation Portal due to the ongoing memory crisis. And it seems like things are only going to get worse for gamers.
