As an industrial designer, I've done extensive research on monitor light bars. Lighting plays a crucial role not only in our health but also in the overall atmosphere of a room. Because of that, I wouldn't recommend a light bar that only has a fixed lighting angle.

Instead, I'd suggest choosing a light bar with adjustable LED panels that can be rotated toward the wall. This creates indirect lighting, which is much easier on the eyes and provides a more comfortable working environment.

For example, I bought the EYOCEAN Desk Lamp for around €50, and it has been worth every penny. It's been a real game changer, and I've been using it almost every day for nearly two years.

Is a ScreenBar really better than a traditional desk lamp? We put the BenQ ScreenBar Halo 2 to the test and compare its ease of use, brightness, potential glare, and more.
