Looks like a self-fulfilling prophecy...MS is on the forefront of Ai, manufacturing the shortagess with one hand whike the other pretends not to know whats going on and has to react to the problem it helped create.

Unless of course they are makjng a climate that discourages ownership and promotes perpetual renting.
Kinda like Bill Gates investing in all these various attacks on livestock and agriculture while investing in the solutions he's marketed as the savior to

Microsoft is raising Xbox console prices worldwide from August 1, with Series S and Series X models increasing by up to $150. The company blames memory and storage costs, warning further price hikes could follow by 2027. Microsoft will also offer financing options in select markets and sell refurbished consoles at a discount.
