I have never drive a same bike, car for like 5+ minutes, all we do is still others vehicles or swapns new vehicles, and we do not ever experienced a fuel refill in GTA history so I like to experience that refill fule system as you know we can loot fule stations too.

Would be an amazing idea. In the Division 2 one of the most sought after requests was adding a layer of survival into the game i.e. a weather and resource system. However initially they tested it as an optional mode to try out.

Having a furl system would ve an intetesting take. The hatets believe its a tefious chore however seem to be firgetting that "Snacks" & "Drinks" are optional and passive health regeneration is a serperate thing up to a point. Players health can regen up to 30% when low. Snacks like armor in gta 5 just give ypu an added layer of protection.

Similarly a fuel system for cars is not a bad idea at all and they do not necessarily have to make it realistic. There are racing ganes that give nitrous with 2-3 charges and a slower passive regen. Heck Overwatch games (FPS) has pasdive healty regen and a seperate guaranteed healing buff amount.

There is nothing wrong in having a system implemented into GTA6 which allows players 2 methods to regain fuel. One being a slow regen (which u may gain more from slipstreaming) and  having a guaranted top up meter using  a Fuel station which aldo adds a layer of insecurity i.e. players spawn camping Fuel stations too.

Its up to Rockstar Games. No harm in suggestions.

The GTARP community existing around GTAV has already proven that fuel systems, food and drink systems, and all other manner of realism can be used to great effect within the game. Rockstar baught the FiveM ecosystem and they are implementing their own modding system with ROME (Rockstar online Modding Engine).

Now the question is whether fuel would be implimented in base game or if it will need to be tacked on with mods. Years of RP prove that it can work is that kind of setting within the game but does it make sense in the story side? Thays up for interpretation

Dear god no, awful idea. Games are meant to be an escape from the drudgery, not to implement more of it in the search for "realism". This is just boring mundane nonsense that doesn't need to be in the game at all.

Isn't it a bit late to be doing gas in 2026 now?

Probably, should be doing EVs with charging infrastructure everywhere.

But then that would probably go against all the corporate incentive structures funding this game.

They'd have to put Chinese EVs since they make the best ones that charge in like 5 minutes. Can't be having that due to pushing propaganda reasons.

If they were to add fuel consumption, maybe also add maintenance to the vehicle. Tune ups for older beaten up vehicles to help reduce fuel consumption, regular oil changes and possibly new tires? It would also benefit their wallets, more shark cards being purchased for vehicle maintenance. There is a mechanic in gta5 but keep him for damage repairs but the players pay for operating costs. You would have to be more conscious of running from the cops, especially if you jack a car from the hood that's only got "E" nough fuel to get to a gas station. I'm definitely for more realistic more simulation. Gta 6, the last game you'll ever need to scratch every itch, if you stay away from the ladies of the night.

Or having to shave (or not), eat, drink, sleep, pee, poop, using the right meds and if not.., getting deleted by one bullet; needing operations, healing after for weeks and staying in bed, taking anti-pain meds after certain operations (like I had take Piritramide irl (first I was like: 'will I need it?' then the pain started and I was like: 'oh sh*t..', so had to administer it. fortunately the situation didn't last too long and has cleared up long ago), .. (post more realism examples for fun)

Game hours pass much quicker (one in-game minute lasts two real-life seconds)..so one would have to pee in-game like every 10 minutes .. would be funny.

For months, the GTA community has been debating whether Rockstar could introduce a fuel system in Grand Theft Auto VI, requiring vehicles to be refueled regularly. To many players, the idea initially sounds like unnecessary busywork. However, some fans believe a gasoline system could actually work quite well in GTA 6 – if Rockstar implements it cleverly.
